New CDs From Rick Mester and Rob Williams

Rick Mester has been working on a pop solo CD for a while now and it is finally available!

"Wallpaper Sky" is a catchy, pop CD with some different sounds than you may be used to hearing from Rick/Sombrance/Ishur/Unicks.

You can grab your copy at CDBaby, iTunes, or the Zophim Records Store in time for Christmas!!

Rob Williams is finishing up work on his solo CD as well. When it is available, you will hear about it here first!

We promise to knock out those last few Sombrance songs now!

New CD Update

"Through Waterless Places" is running late! Due to Rick's recent wrist surgery and his inability to play guitar, the recording has taken a lot longer than anticipated. Half of the disk is done and in the hands of Jimmy with the other half still needing to be tracked. We are very excited about the new songs and hope you will think they were worth the wait!! You can preview new tracks at our myspace site (currently Crow on a Cross is up and available).

This is going to push back the release date, but we hope you will like the extra care taken to develop the new songs! Let's hope for an early 200 release. By the way, Rob Steel has come up with an amazing cover for the disk and we can't wait for you to see it!!

The Christmas CD will happen next year as it is also only half finished. We do not want to rush through it.

Stay tuned here for more news as it happens!

PS - Thank you sincerely to all those who have added us, downloaded us, commented, and purchased Eli at myspace.com! We love you all!! We especially love the beautiful girls!! -Peace, Rick

Random Stuff From Rick

"In late 2005, I signed a recording contract with PsychoAcoustiX Records based out of Florida. Tragically, however, the owner, Carl Crandell, passed away unexpectedly. The label has passed with him."

"Sombrance is busy though recording "Through Waterless Places" as well as a Christmas CD for release later this year. I hope to somehow find the time to work on a new Ishur Ninku CD this year as well."

"At the time of this message, our intention is to release Through Waterless Places through our own Zophim Records. But things could change!"

"Finally, I want to give some love to my friends Jim Calvert and Justin DeTie (you may remember their work on the now ultra rare Sombrance CD"Dark Days and Afternoon Sleep"). They have an amazing band called Jambi's Revenge. Check them out on myspace.com and tell them we sent you!"

- Peace and Love
