Jimmy P. Brown II Instruments Played: Gear: Musical History: After spending years trying to ease his fan base out of the thrash of Weapons of Our Warfare and into the Queensryche-ish tones of River Disturbance, Jimmy P Brown II has found what he was looking for. Not that he didn't know already! Those long-time fans of his can't help but be aware of his love and admiration of Terry Scott Taylor (Daniel Amos/Swirling Eddies/Lost Dogs). After all, who couldn't hear the changes in his vocal style from Stay of Execution onward? Jimmy has a wonderful voice and Terry made him USE it! Perhaps his biggest influence, though, has been David Bowie. Jimmy has a near fanatical devotion to all things Bowie. He has long desired to 'settle down' into a dark electronic, pop style that would afford him the opportunity to really write freely. But his fans would not hear of it. The chants came from all corners of the world "we want Weapons Part II"! But Jimmy had outgrown that style a decade ago. He simply wanted to progress as a musician and move on towards his vision of electronic fury. So he did what he was good at... evolving! Jimmy struggled under the weight of what fans expected Deliverance to be. He was hungrier than ever to write a disk that would demonstrate to his fans where he truly was and what he wanted to say as a musician. It wasn't long before he began writing for his 'side project' Fearful Symmetry. If you are a fan of David Bowie, Terry Scott Taylor, Rammstein, Andone, or Wumpscut then you will Fearful Symmetry. Jimmy's newest project is called Jupiter 6 and features a 70's glam rock vibe not too unlike Ziggy Stardust. Jimmy had always considered himself a member of Sombrance and we are always grateful for his friendship and talent!
